About Paschal's History

Our Story

Paschal’s Restaurant is an Atlanta institution with deep roots in the city’s cultural and civil rights history. Founded in the mid-20th century, Paschal’s became a trusted gathering place where community leaders, civil rights figures, artists, and locals came together during a defining era in American history. Known for its Southern cuisine and sense of purpose, Paschal’s stood at the intersection of food, entrepreneurship, and social change—cementing its legacy as far more than a restaurant.
